The Pacific Bear, our “Little Blue Boat”

Christened the Lasqueti Star, in honour of the shipyards of British Columbia where she was built by Lasqueti Fishing Co in 1974, the "Little Blue Boat" was originally a fishing vessel working the province’s rugged coast. Totally rebuilt and refurbished, this former "Seiner" is now a comfortable, extremely sea-worthy passenger cruiser, plying the calm, coastal waterways she knows so well. In her present life, the “Pacific Bear,” since 2015, gives her guests access to British Columbia’s breath-taking secret coast. A fully equipped galley, single-seat dining, hospitality bar and ample open and enclosed deck viewing, ensure guests enjoy every comfort while benefiting from unprecedented proximity to BC’s hidden gems. The Pacific Bear is an exclusive, multi day cruises for only 16 guests with overnights at coastal lodges & resorts.

Pride of Victoria "The Cat"

Although her official name is The Pride of Victoria, we affectionately call her The Cat.  Custom built for the Canadian Coast Guard in 1969, she spent many seasons on West Coast of Vancouver Island .She is 45 feet (12.37 metres) long, and 17 feet (5.2 metres) wide making her far more stable than most ships out there.  The Cat is a Transport Canada certified vessel licensed to carry 43 passengers.  Every year we haul her out of the water for rigorous inspections, upgrades and routine maintenance.  Safety of all on board is our number one priority and we are equipped with a 50 passenger life raft, Transport Canada approved equipment. The Cat has a head on board (bathroom), a galley (kitchen),  and numerous decks offer excellent photo opportunities giving uninterrupted 360 degree panoramic views.
